GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police detectives arrested two men and seized approximately 210 pounds of marijuana and 19 firearms during a recent narcotics investigation announced Thursday, Oct. 8.
GPD Vice/Narcotics detectives, with assistance from the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, executed search warrants Sept. 29 before arresting the men and seizing drugs, firearms and cash. Police said the investigation remains ongoing and court documents are available through Guilford County eCourts.
Christopher Jarel Suggs, 35, was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintain a dwelling for controlled substance, felony conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted a $5,000 secured bond.
Jammi Theo Parker, 39, was charged with trafficking marijuana, conspire to sell or deliver marijuana, felony maintain a dwelling for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted a $50,000 secured bond, according to online court records.
City officials framed the case as an ongoing probe in the Oct. 8 announcement. Detectives did not list the street addresses tied to the Sept. 29 warrants in that public announcement.
Both men face felony marijuana counts tied to the same warrant day. Online court records cited by police show Suggs bonded at $5,000 and Parker at $50,000 after the arrests that followed the searches.
Police said cash was recovered with the marijuana and firearms. Anyone with information can use existing tip channels as the cases proceed through the courts.
